Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The attachment of low viscosity, bulky but flexible alkyl side chains onto a functional metal-ligand complex core unit leads to a production of novel nonvolatile metal complex liquid materials at room temperature. The employed metal-ligand complexes are single molecular white luminescent Ir complex and spin-active, electrochromic double-decker lutetium phthalocyanine. Both cases the intrinsic molecular function can be transferred into the produced bulk liquid materials.
