Research Abstract

In this project, we have investigated the crystal structure, electron-density distribution, electronic structure and optical properties of metal oxynitrides. We prepared the perovskite-type oxynitrides by heating of metal oxides under ammonia flowing. Synchrotron X-ray powder diffraction data of metal oxynitrides were analyzed by Rietveld and maximum-entropy methods.
