Outline of Final Research Achievements

The goal of this study is to develop high precision time synchronization method between distributed underwater observation systems using acoustic communication technology.
We have developed a method that a drifted clock synchronizes to a reference clock while two acoustic communication devices are communicating each other. A test system was developed and the feasibility of the proposed method has been proved by tank tests.
