| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Interpersonal relationship is one of the fundamental daily activities of human beings as social entities. Brain substrates of such interpersonal relationship were investigated by recording brain functions just during real conversations between two persons. Obtained brain activities corresponded to personality features in healthy subjects and clinical symptoms in psychiatric disorders. These findings lead to a pioneering science field “two-person neuroscience” through “real-world neuroimaging”.
