Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In this project, we have discussed a cache scheme to effectively distribute content items over networks and a transport protocol to efficiently deliver them in Information Centric Networking (ICN), which is designed for content delivery services. As a result, we have proposed a selective caching scheme based on estimated content popularity and a transport protocol applying forward error correction technologies, and then demonstrated their effectiveness through simulations and practical experiments.
