Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We investigated whether intestinal peristalsis of the constipation patients is reduced in this study. In the first year, the reliability of the objective measurement of intestinal peristalsis using sound sensor was a good. We presented this finding at the Congress, wrote in the paper. we measured intestinal peristalsis of the 23 elderly using the geriatric health services facility and investigated nursing care level, Activity, HDSR, medication, number of defecation. All elderly subjects forcibly defeced by medication, but Intestinal peristalsis of elderly subjects significantly higher than 11 healthy subjects.this finding suggested that medication doesn’t defecation difficulty improve. It is necessory the other intervention to improve intestinal peristalsis. We will present this finding at the Congress, and write in the paper. In future, we will investigate that exercise can improve constipation disease, and want to expand the workplace of physical therapy.
