Outline of Final Research Achievements	In the field of study on Physical education, there is a profound issue ‘what is Physical education?’ and, we can see many discussions to anser this. The purpose of this research is to reveal the base(s) of thoughts in common to the discussions, by surveying and analysing them. The results of this research which are published in the form of papers is the first milestone for pursuing retroactively the literal meanings of Physical education.
