Outline of Final Research Achievements |
I aimed to pour light on the way how modern French philosophers and aestheticians had formed their own thoughts under strong influence of the modern German philosophy including Kantianism. To be more specific, I examined the cases of Charles Renouvier, Jules Lachelier, Emile Boutroux, Octave-Auguste Hamelin, Henri Bergson, Victor Basch, Leon Brunschuvicg.
