Outline of Final Research Achievements

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of Cultural Assimilators (Fielder, Mitchell, & Triandis, 1971) on English learning outcomes and Japanese EFL learners' cross-cultural attitudes. This study suggests that multiple Culture Assimilators should not be implemented into EFL classrooms because they have some possibilities to demotivate students to practice English, therefore, the present study developed an intercultural English program with various intercultural education methods.
