Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The aim of research project is to reexamine a hypothesis that daily experience influences capability formation as university faculty, posed by quantitative analysis, through qualitative methods such as interview and life-history graphing. Results include 1) The way early-career faculty feel values for education, research, and other academic work varies from person to person; 2) some early-career faculty gain the opportunity to grow even from work, such as project coordination etc., that has not been thought as academic work in the past.
