Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The purpose of this study is to clarify the history of building section and architects of the prefecture in modern Japan. The results can be summarized as follows: 1) The character of the building section of prefecture can be classified into several types: for example, one prefecture had the positive continuity from Edo Period, and the other prefecture had the positive relation with central government. 2) Architect's movement was very active in Meiji Period. They didn't stop at a home town and a first working place. Utilizing architectural skill and human relations, they have formed each carrier. We can gain images of the various architects in the Meiji Period who don't just aim at Tokyo or a central government.
