Fiscal Year 2013: ¥1,560,000 (Direct Cost: ¥1,200,000、Indirect Cost: ¥360,000)
Keywordsα2-antiplasmin / 記憶 / 樹状突起 / 神経細胞 / α2アンチプラスミン / 線維素溶解系因子
Outline of Final Research Achievements

We found that α2-Antiplasmin (α2AP) is a crucial mediator of cognitive function. We also demonstrated that α2AP induces dendritic growth in hippocampal neurons through p38 MAPK activation, independent of plasmin.
