Outline of Final Research Achievements |
To understand the molecular mechanism regulating vascular development, I tried to isolate key transcription factors, which regulate the differentiation process from procambium to xylem. I performed the insertional chromatin immunoprecipitation experiment to identify regulatory factors of a master regulator for xylem vessel differentiation. I also performed transcriptome analysis using ATHB-8 overexpressing suspension culture cells. I found that ATHB-8 regulates a lot of transcription factors and genes involved in phytohormone regulation.
