Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In this study, viral involvement was investigated in canine lymphoma. No virus was found in the tumor cells from dogs with naturally occurring lymphoma by comprehensive analysis. The prevalence of Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) known as an oncogenic virus in some forms of human lymphoma was very low in canine lymphoma. In summary, viral involvement seemed to be less common in canine lymphoma.
