Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We revealed that oral sumatriptan administration enhanced gastric accommodation after the ingestion of liquid nutrients, but had no significant effect on antral contractions or intragastric distribution in healthy subjects. Single-dose sitagliptin intake had no significant influence on the rate of liquid gastric emptying in asymptomatic volunteers. 100µg ramosetron pre-treatment enhances the early gastric emptying of liquid nutrients, but 5 µg ramosetron pre-treatment enhances the early gastric emptying of liquid nutrients. The gastric transit time(GTT) measured by (video capsule endoscopy)VCE cannot serve as asubstitute for the gastric emptying time measured by the 13C breath test.
