Outline of Final Research Achievements

In this study, we examined the role of zinc transporter Zip7 in the intestinal crypt homeostasis and found that Zip7 is essential for the proliferation of crypt cells and the maintenance of intestinal stem cells by regulating ER stress levels in crypt cells.
