Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study was aimed to examine a possible role of secretory PLA2 and PLA2 receptor in cardiovascular regeneration, and to develop a new drug for prevention from cardiovascular diseases. As a result, PLA2R inhibit cardiac rupture after myocardial infarction by increasing migrations of fibroblasts to the infarcted lesion.
