Outline of Final Research Achievements |
It is urgent to develop novel therapies for infants with perinatal hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (HIE). In the present project, we evaluated whether anti-A receptor antibody can exert treatment effect against perinatal HIE or not with perinatal HIE mice. We found that intraperitoneal injection of anti-A receptor antibody suppressed apoptosis, leading to smaller infarct volume. Anti-A receptor antibody injected intraperitoneally could migrated into injured brain, and increased serum cytokine A level significantly.
