Outline of Final Research Achievements

1. Nailfold plexus visibility(NPV): NPV have been observed in 100 patients with autism spectrum disorder and 50 age-matched normal development controls. Intelectual level was scored by WAIS-III or WISC-III. NPV was recorded by stereoscopic microscope with CCD video recorder (VIDEO MICRO SCOPE SC-4, Kenko-kagaku-kenkyukai). NPV in all 10 fingers were evaluated in the standaed 5 scores system.
2. sPECAM-1: Serum samples have been obtained from all participents at the day when NPV data was taken. All samples were stored in freezed for quantitation of sPECAM with a evaluation ELISA kit.
