Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We developed a new fluctuation magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) which can provide functional information on brain compliance, perfusion, and tissue structure, and applied it to patients with idiopathic normal pressure hydrocephalus (iNPH). We clarified that our method may enable noninvasive and more detailed evaluation of intracranial biomechanics and assist in the diagnosis of iNPH.
