Outline of Final Research Achievements

We comfirm the pharmacokinetics of radioactive iodine in mouse or rat. The pharmacokinetics of radioactive iodine in mouse or rat is different by the administration methods. In mouse, radioactive iodine accumlation at thyroid gland is different between oral administration and Intravenus injection.
We succeeded to investigate the pharmacokinetics of radioactive iodine in mouse or rat by gamma camera and PET.By this study, we think to guess the exposure amount by the radioisotope uptaken in the human body by the latest nuclear medicine techniques such as γ camera .
