We evaluate the usefulness of contrast-enhanced ultrasonography for head and neck lesions.Contrast-enhanced ultrasonography was useful to evaluate necrosis in the metastatic lymph node in patients with head and neck cancer, depicting a necrotic area in metastatic lymph node clearly as a unenhanced area. Contrast agent for ultrasonography has less adverse effect. Contrast enhanced ultrasonography can evaluate the metastatic lymph node in patients with head and neck cancer accurate and safe.
