Outline of Final Research Achievements

Overactive bladder decreases the patients' quality of life. Thus, it is important for us to elucidate the pathophysiology of overactive bladder.
We have demonstrated that human bladder smooth muscle does not always relax through cAMP-dependent pathway. Furthermore, we have shown that these pathway does not involved in K channels.
