Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We use facial nerve cut models of rats. We transplanted 75% L-lactic acid and 25% E-caprolactone tube to cut sites and administered human Muse cells to these models using drugs to suppress the immune system. We can get results of slow recover of nerve regeneration. From now we are going to measure numbers of axon and thickness of myelin sheath in regenerated nerve.
