Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study aimed to provide a psychometric evaluation of the Japanese version of the Patient Assessment of Constipation Quality of Life questionnaire.And, adult women were administered tablets (1.5g one tablet per day) of propionibacterium derivatives to see whether the tablets can effect constipation relaxation or odor reduction of their stools. Our study data confirmed the validity and reliability of the JPAC-QOL and demonstrated ready for use in evaluating the symptom-specific QOL in Japanese patients with constipation.Tablet administration of the propionibacterium derivatives showed the significant effect for constipation relaxation and odor reduction in the adult women.
