Outline of Final Research Achievements

The Aim of this study is to investigate the role of inflammasomes in Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) induced enteropathy.
This study showed that the NLRP3 inflammasome-associated IL-1beta plays a critical role in NSAIDs-induced small intestinal enteropathy. In addition, the TLR4 and P2X7 signalings plays an improtant roles in developing this NLRP3 inflammasome associated enteropathy.
