Outline of Final Research Achievements

In this study, a mammographic image analysis methods using rotational morphological processing have been developed. The project addressed the following tasks: (1) automatic extraction of breast border, (2) extraction of morphological features of masses, calcifications and architectural distortion, (3) automatic detection of lesion region, and (4) effective visualization of morphological features in abnormal region.
