Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We establish method of a movement tracking in a laboratory condition for ayu (Plecoglossus altivelis). We found the mechanism that fishes can tune their behaviors (speed, direction and Levi-walk) against global behavior, although a fish in a group never has enough information of its belonged school and constructed a new model which matched well to our experimental results. We showed scale-free behaviors in a fish school for some global information. Our researches suggest fish's behavior with restricted knowledge can emerges various functional roles for both of experimental and theoretical aspects.
