Research Abstract |
The final purpose of this research is creating community environment that can foster adolescent children fairly and healthily. In particular, there were two aims in 2013: clarifying needs of adolescent children about facilities and human resources in their local communities, and developing a Human-Resource-Development (HRD) program for staff of community spaces. In this year, we did some questionnaires toward to 2,000 adolescent children, field research in four foreign cities, and research about correlation between self-esteem and time perspective. We uncovered some factors that influence adolescent children's motivation and mental stability, and clarified skill-set and mind-set as staff of community spaces. Current phase is trying and improving the HRD program being supported by a non-profit organization that is creating a community space for students in Ichikawa City, Japan.
