Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We evaluated electroencephalography (EEG) and magnetoencephalography (MEG) findings in case with positive giant somatosensory responses. Even in a same series of cortical responses of median nerve stimulation, magnitude of EEG and MEG responses were diverse, which implied complex input-output association between stimulus of peripheral nerve and central cortical responses. We also tried to identify appropriate EMG pattern for jerk-locked back averaging (JLA). We clarified high-amplitude single-peak EMG response may be good mark for identifying epileptic focus with JLA.
