Outline of Research at the Start

心臓は全身に血液を送って個体の生命を維持しているが、遺伝的・環境的ストレスによって機能が破綻すると心不全を発症する。実際には個人ごとの心不全の発症機序が異なるにも関わらず、その詳細が明らかでないために画一的な治療をせざるを得ない。本研究では、新しく「プレシジョン循環器治療学」という学問体系を構築し、患者ひとりひとりの遺伝的・環境的ストレスによる心不全発症機序を標的とした治療法を開発する。
