Outline of Research at the Start

子どもの自殺は増加傾向にあり、現在、子どもの死因の第1位となっている。自殺企図後の子どもに対しては、早期の自殺リスク評価と安全計画の策定が不可欠である。いじめなどの問題が存在する場合はその解決を図り、精神疾患が併存する場合には専門的な治療を開始する必要がある。本研究では、自殺企図直後の子どもに初期ケアと医学的治療を提供し、その後の1年間の自傷行動の頻度を追跡調査することで、子どもの自殺抑止効果を検証する。自殺企図者の自殺関連行動を抑制するための効果的な施策に関するエビデンスは限られている現状において、本研究の成果は学術的に高い価値を有し、社会的な意義も深いと考えられる。
