Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では日本列島の土台を構成する付加体の欠損が見られる三畳紀に着目する。その原因を議論するために、その前後の時代を含むペルム紀からジュラ紀にかけてのユーラシア大陸東縁部大陸地殻化学組成の経年変化を当時の付加体砕屑岩に含まれるジルコンの化学組成から復元し、付加体欠損が三畳紀当時の構造侵食作用によって引き起こされた可能性を議論する。
