Outline of Research at the Start

多面体トポロジーそのものがキラリティーを示す「キラル多面体」の合成例は極めて限定的であり、キラル材料としての活用はおろか、その不斉合成すら達成されていない。そこで本研究課題では、離散数学におけるグラフ操作の概念を活用することで、未踏キラル多面体分子の探索と合成を行う。さらには、キラル多面体の大域的で長大なキラル骨格を活かすことで、革新的キラルマテリアルとしての可能性を探る。
