Outline of Research at the Start	MECP2重複症候群（MDS）はMECP2遺伝子の重複によって発症する重度の神経発達障害である。根治的治療法は未確立である。私たちはこれまでの研究で、MDS患者由来iPS細胞から分化誘導した神経細胞におけるmTORシグナル伝達の異常亢進とそれに伴う細胞形態の過成長所見を確認している。本研究では、複数のMDS患者から樹立したiPS細胞を神経細胞および3次元構造体である脳オルガノイドに分化誘導し、2つのMDS神経モデルを用いて、mTOR阻害剤（ラパマイシン）の治療効果をin vitroで検証する。
