Outline of Research at the Start

Sjogren症候群(SjS)はドライアイ，ドライマウスを特徴とする膠原病疾患の一つであり全身に様々な症状を引き起こすことが知られているが, 現時点で有効な治療法は確立していない．SjSでは自己反応性B細胞が病態形成に深く関与していると考えられており, 自己反応性B細胞の機能・遺伝子発現・タンパク質発現に関して，正常の免疫反応と異なる部分が存在すれば，それを標的とした治療を行う事で副作用なく自己免疫異常のみを治療することが可能となると考えられる．本研究は自己反応性B細胞の機能および特徴を評価し，診断・活動性指標ならびに治療標的候補を同定することを目指す．
