Outline of Research at the Start

プロポフォールは短時間の処置や検査における鎮静、全身麻酔、集中治療における鎮静など国内外の臨床で最も使用されている鎮静薬の１つである。プロポフォールには、稀だが致死的な副作用であるプロポフォール注入症候群(propofol infusion syndrome:PRIS)がある。詳細な発症メカニズムは明らかとなっていない。対症療法となる。今まで、in vitroでの研究が主流で動物モデルを使用した研究はなかった。我々は2022年度からの基盤Cにより、ゼブラフィッシュのPRISモデルの作成に成功した。本研究は麻酔科学領域のけるプロポフォール使用の安全性と信頼を高めることを目的としている。
