Outline of Research at the Start

Musculoskeletal pain (MSP)and work-related musculoskeletal disorders (WRMDs) without early intervention, leading to absenteeism and negative impacts on health, quality of life, and the economy. Many WRMD studies rely on laboratory settings, limiting their real-world applicability. Ecological momentary assessment (EMA) offers real-time, non-invasive tracking of digital biomarkers to understand the daily factors influencing MSP and WRMDs. This proposal integrates the EMA with lab-based biomechanical-physiological experiments to explore stressor relationships and develop preventive strategies.
