Outline of Research at the Start

1945年を起点として複数の国民国家に再編された東アジアには、伝統絵画を基調にした「（戦後の）日本画」、「中国画」、「（台湾の）中国画」、「韓国画」、「朝鮮画」といった国号を冠した絵画ジャンルが構築されている。本研究では、それらの絵画に共通の伝統であった「筆墨」が各国の現代絵画に継承されてきたプロセスや現状を調査し、各国の相互理解に資する戦後文化史を構想していく。
