Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は東北方言の音声的な特徴に焦点を絞り，産出と知覚の両面からその実態を明らかにするだけでなく，機械学習による生成も行う．さらに，東北方言と共通語の比較を通じて，日本語音声の変化を幅広く捉える研究は，音声学・音韻論の中にとどまるものではなく，社会言語学，日本語学，方言学など，多くの領域に関わる．方言音声は人の移動と世代の移り変わりによって，常に消失の危機にあると言える．本研究は，移ろいゆくその姿をとどめ，細かく分析し，言語学的に有効な一般化を行うものである．
