Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、近年における世界的な研究動向をふまえ、世界史上、ほかに例を見ない中国の一体性が、どのような背景・要因により生み出されたのかを論じ、複眼的な視野から新たな古代史研究の可能性を模索することを企図した共同研究である。国際的、かつ分野横断的な協業体制の下、統治制度が形成されていく道程をより具体的に解明するとともに、言語や習俗など、集団の一体性を支えるイデオロギーや、「統一体としての中国」というコンセプトが構築される過程を、文字文化、民間習俗、国家儀礼に注目して再検討する。
