Outline of Research at the Start

ミャンマーにおける1947年神話とは、独立の英雄アウンサンとビルマ・ナショナリスト組織タキン党の功績を無謬とする国民的な物語で、独立以来ミャンマー国史の中核部分を構成する。2021年クーデター以後、この神話体制に破綻の兆しがみられる。本研究ではこのその形成過程、排除してきたものを明らかにして、新しい1947年像、新しいミャンマー現代史を提示することを課題とし、現ミャンマーの変動する政治状況に一貫した歴史的視野を与えることを目指す。本研究は、ミャンマー史研究に実績のある歴史学、政治学、人類学の研究者6人による総合的ミャンマー史研究プロジェクトである。
