Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、放射光ラミノグラフィを文化財研究に応用し、青銅鏡をはじめとする金属文化財の内部構造観察ならびに金属組織解析手法を確立することを目的としている。青銅鏡をはじめとする金属文化財の素材や成分のみならず、内部微細構造と金属組織の詳細の検証を通して、古来から勘や経験に基づき行われてきた非常に高度な金属加工技術（鋳物の注湯方法や湯流れなど）の解明にも取り組む。
