Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、ベトナム、タイ、カンボジア、インドネシアの法律専門職（裁判官、検察官、弁護士、準法律家）の職業階層化と社会的イメージの実態を明らかにするものである。各国の法制度と専門職制度の比較、現地での面接調査、新聞・ネット記事のテキスト分析、さらには大学生を対象とした実験計画法による質問紙調査を通じて、法と社会の相互作用を多角的に分析する。従来の欧米中心的な法律家像を相対化し、アジア独自の法専門職の形成とその社会的意義に関する新たな視座を提示することを目的とする研究である。
