Outline of Research at the Start

消費サイドに関する知見を経済史研究に位置づけるには、消費の場としての世帯に視点を置くことが一つの有力な切り口になる。家内生産論を下敷きとして、消費と家事労働の構造的な関連の歴史を定式化したデ・フリースの議論は、そこでの有力な参照軸であるが、本研究は、アジア（日本・中国）とヨーロッパ（ドイツ・イギリス）を対象に、定量的・定性的の双方のアプローチを含んだ実証研究によって、あらためて消費と家事労働の構造的な関係性を問い直すことを試みる。その成果を共通の枠組みのもとで統合することで、北西ヨーロッパの経験を超えた、より一般的な消費と家事労働に関する歴史理論の構築を目指す。
