Outline of Research at the Start

気候変動に応答する現代社会において、「修復」モードの資本主義の進展がめざましい。この資本主義は、科学技術と加速し合い、人間種のために生命と生態系をつくり直すテラ・リフォーミングをもたらしている。しかし、その過程でもたらされる社会的不正義や、生命と生態系の人為的改変、および惑星のつくり直しという倫理的課題に関する議論は十分でない。本研究では、「修復」モードの資本主義がプランテーション様式を内面化していることに着目し、複数の「種」に着目したマルチサイテッド・エスノグラフィにより、新たに生まれている生態学的・リアリティを描き出す。その上で、人間らしさ、地球らしさの「再生」に関する倫理的指針を導く。
