Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、主として尼崎大気汚染公害訴訟の資料群を中心にした調査研究である。尼崎市は駅前再開発の成功で子育て世代に人気の住宅地になったと論じられる場合、それ以前に被害者・住民による環境再生に向けた運動があったことが捨象されがちである。住まうに適した環境を求めた運動が、尼崎市の地域としての価値を高めてきたという視点を軸に、資料群を整理・分析、証言をアーカイブス化しながら、「負の記憶」を脱臭化しない産業都市の環境史をパブリックに描き、地域遺産としての「負の記憶」保存について考察したい。
