Outline of Research at the Start

価値の多元性や科学の不確実性など多くの障壁が立ちはだかる「複雑な問題」について、社会学の方法を応用して解決する技法を研究する。具体的には、（1）研究者自らが、問題の解決に実践的に関与しながらアクションリサーチをし、（2）そこから、問題の「複雑さ」とはいったい何なのか、その構成要素を明らかにする。そして、（3）複雑な問題の社会学的な解決技法について試行的にモデルを構築し、それを実際に応用して検証する。（4）それらから、複雑な問題の社会学的解決技法のモデルを構築するとともに、社会学的解決技法のわかりやすい手引きを作成する。
