Outline of Research at the Start

日本の低所得者向け住宅政策は、一貫して公営住宅の直接供給にゆだねられてきた。しかし、供給量の不足に加え、居住地ニーズとのミスマッチや低家賃住宅における居住性能の不備など、居住貧困は依然として深刻な社会課題である。ここでの居住貧困とは、経済的困窮による住宅確保の困難、低質な住宅への依存、社会的排除に起因する孤独や孤立といった不利な状態を指す。
本研究は、空き家など既存ストックを活用した低コストリノベーション手法を開発・レシピ化し、現行制度では救済が難しい層に対して建築の力で支援を行うことを目的とする。また、平時と災害時の両方を想定し、どちらにも応用可能な実践的手法の構築を目指す。
