Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、アジア地域における紛争と教育に関する包括的なデータベースを構築するとともに、紛争が教育に与える影響を実証的に明らかにすることを目的とする。アフガニスタンを含む東・東南・南西アジアの紛争影響国を対象として、ウプサラ紛争データベースのGIS情報やテキストデータのマシンラーニングをもとに紛争の形態や影響範囲をベクターデータとして作成し、各国の社会・教育調査データから算出される非就学児童数、就学率、中途退学率を当該範囲に重ね合わせることで、紛争と教育の経年的な変化をジオマッピングにより可視化する。さらに、差分の差分分析や階層線形モデルを用いて、個人の紛争経験が教育成果に与える影響を推定する。
